Path to Savings and Results

We start by listening. Total Energy Solutions comes to your facility with no preconceived notions or preset formula designed to sell a certain type of product. Rather, we listen to your story of past energy costs and work with you to establish a systematic evaluation approach to accurately reflect potential savings. Work with your building level personnel to identify building history, problems, changes, maintenance schedules and support services/contracts. We then set dates and get your signed authorization to proceed.

Identification

Identify and understand the current building lighting and energy usage.

Do preliminary study of building performance using sensors and Infrared Thermal imaging inspection.

We compute your Savings Projection forward to clarify the approach you can take to finance the investments required with real world energy savings. Our Facility Evaluation will be a thorough review of opportunities you may have never seen. We like to call it “the gift of new eyes”.

Detailed Proposal

Once you are satisfied that the energy savings potential is sufficient to move forward, we develop a Detailed Proposal that includes detailed calculations and/or simulations of both installed costs and overall savings. We then benchmark buildings using Energy Star Efficient buildings to rank your building's relative performance.

After the benchmarking process, we provide analysis and modeling with state of the art computer measurement and prediction tools of current facility energy usage versus savings from upgrades or maintenance of current systems. This allows us to generate full model report of facility energy savings, compute return on investment from energy savings and tax incentives, and project cash flow analysis. We then present a full report to client staff.

Total Energy Solutions can locate installation contractors to implement energy saving measures.

Total Energy Solutions stays with you to continuously monitor the savings we have projected with continuous monitoring. Total Energy Solutions establishes an energy monitoring feature for monitoring of energy usage by you and Total Energy Solutions to provide energy efficiency performance feedback. Performance deviation will be easily detected to allow rapid diagnostic and corrective measures.
